Dr. Tsorbatzoglou Alexis obtained his medical degree in 1995 and began his professional career at the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Debrecen. After earning his ophthalmology specialization, his focus turned toward cataract surgery in 1999, which has since become the central area of his professional and scientific interest. He conducted in-depth research in this field and earned his PhD in 2007.
In 2008, he was appointed Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Jósa András Hospital in Nyíregyháza, a position he continues to hold as Chief Consultant. Alongside his work in public healthcare, he also began practicing in the private sector, and we are pleased to welcome him as part of our ophthalmology team.
