Dr. Bernáth Éva

Dr. Bernáth Éva obtained her medical degree in 1986 from the Faculty of General Medicine at the University of Medical Sciences in Debrecen. In 1991, she completed her ophthalmology specialization in Budapest at the Postgraduate Medical University. She has several decades of experience in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of eye diseases. Throughout her career, she has placed great emphasis on continuous professional development and regularly participates in both national and international training programs and conferences.

In her work, she places special focus on patient-centred care and personalized treatment. Her greatest expertise lies in cataract surgery. Even before completing her specialization, she participated in a study trip to Finland in 1991, where she acquired the foundational skills of intraocular lens implantation. She has been routinely using modern cataract surgery techniques since 2000. With the continuous advancement of intraocular lenses, full visual rehabilitation has now become possible—further reinforcing her commitment to ongoing professional development.

She is now applying her professional and academic experience to private healthcare as well, which is why she joined the team at MC60.
