Dr. Balogh István

After graduating from the Semmelweis University of Medicine, Dr. Balogh István became the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the 13th district. Alongside this role, he also led an industrial dentistry practice and maintained a private practice.
Később, a XIII. kerületi Visegrádi utcai rendelőintézet fogorvosává vált, majd 29 évesen főorvosi kinevezést kapott, Európában elsőként ilyen fiatalon.

Subsequently, he worked as the chief medical director of the district's outpatient care while also heading the dental department. Given that this was one of the largest departments in Hungary—encompassing dentistry, pediatric dentistry, radiology, oral surgery, and orthodontics—the Semmelweis University of Medicine honored the department with an external training rank. As a result, accredited training sessions could be held under Dr. Balogh's leadership as a university tutor and mentor. In addition to actively participating in residency training, he also led the preparation of dentists for their specialist exams. 

Currently, he runs a private practice in Budapest and has joined the MC60 medical team.

We are delighted that Dr. Balogh is the consulting chief physician of our institution's dental and oral surgery department. He views dental care not merely as solving problems but approaches it with consideration of the patient's overall quality of life. With his decades of professional experience and extensive knowledge, he confidently assists patients in even the most complex cases, using the most advanced methods. His vast professional background and experience enable him to create treatment plans with a high degree of expertise and precision, even for complex cases.
