Dr. Alibrahim Jihad

Dr. Alibrahim Jihad is an internist, gastroenterology and endoscopy specialist. He completed his medical studies in Hungary after spending a year learning Hungarian at the Budapest International Preparatory Institute. He earned his medical degree from the University of Debrecen in 1999, followed by a specialization in internal medicine at Semmelweis University in 2007. Later, he also obtained a specialization in gastroenterology.

Throughout his professional career, he has gained extensive experience in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He previously worked at Károly Sándor Hospital, then between 2008 and 2013, he was active in the internal medicine, emergency, and gastroenterology departments of the hospitals in Eger and Gyöngyös, where he was appointed as an adjunct professor. From 2013 to 2022, he worked in the gastroenterology department at the Szent János Hospital Center in Budapest, where he gained significant experience in endoscopic examinations and interventions. Currently, he provides care at the gastroenterology outpatient clinic and the emergency department of Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Hatvan. 

He speaks Hungarian, English, and Arabic fluently, allowing him to understand and accurately convey medical information, ensuring clear and comprehensible communication with patients. His language skills enable him to effectively communicate not only with Hungarian patients but also with those who speak other languages, further enhancing the quality and accessibility of professional and empathetic patient care.
