Dr. Horgyijenko Alina

Dr. Horgyijenko Alina is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology who obtained her medical degree in 2018 from the Faculty of Medicine of Uzhhorod National University, and had it officially recognized at Semmelweis University in 2019.

Since then, she has been working at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital and Outpatient Clinic, where she performs high-level professional work in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. In her daily practice, she is involved in both outpatient care and clinical work, assisting her patients in the management of various gynaecological complaints as well as pregnancy-related issues.

Within her specialty, she provides a wide range of outpatient services, with particular focus on prenatal care and counselling for expectant mothers. It is important to her that her patients receive all necessary information, attention, and support throughout the entire course of their pregnancy.

In her work, she considers a comprehensive, patient-centred approach to be of utmost importance. She believes that the foundation of successful treatment lies not only in high-level professional expertise, but also in the ability of the physician to see the person behind the symptoms, considering their questions, needs, and life situation. Trust, empathy, and clear, detailed communication are especially important to her.
