Dr. Stefán Ágnes

Dr. Stefán Ágnes, Consultant Radiologist, graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University in 2004. She began her residency training at the Radiology Clinic of Semmelweis University and continued it at the Honvéd Hospital, where she passed her radiology board examination with excellent results in 2009. She subsequently worked for several years as a specialist at the Honvéd Hospital, further developing her professional expertise and actively participating in the training of resident doctors.

In 2018 she worked for several months at Flór Ferenc Hospital in Kistarcsa, then from November 2018 she joined the team of Hatvan Albert Schweitzer Hospital and Outpatient Clinic. There she served for nearly six years, until the end of 2025, as Head of the Radiology Department. During this period, local patients could also meet her in person at the ultrasound outpatient clinic. She currently works as a radiologist for the teleradiology company Quantumdoctor, providing remote reporting of X-ray, CT and MRI examinations.

Her main professional interests include emergency radiology and pediatric radiology. With the exception of breast diagnostics, she is happy to practice all areas of radiology. Her favorite modality is ultrasound, where she finds professional fulfillment across a wide spectrum, from follow-up examinations of oncology patients and neonatal hip screening to ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures.

In her view, radiology is not merely the evaluation of images, but an exciting investigative process. By integrating imaging findings with clinical information, she arrives at the correct diagnosis, which plays a key role in supporting the patient’s further and effective treatment.
