Erdélyi Alíz earned her degree in Dietetics at the College of Health Sciences of the Orvostovábbképző Egyetem between 1984 and 1987. She began her career as a therapeutic dietitian at the Sports Hospital, and later worked in a prevention program aimed at reducing cardiovascular diseases.
Between 1994 and 1996, she obtained a certified human resources specialist qualification at Janus Pannonius Tudományegyetem. From 2011 to 2013, she also earned an MSc degree in Nutrition Science at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Pécsi Tudományegyetem. In 2017–2018, she participated in the healthcare spokesperson and communication consultant training program at the Lámfalussy Sándor Faculty of Economics of Soproni Egyetem.
For ten years, she taught at the Department of Dietetics of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and in 2018 her work was recognized by Semmelweis Egyetem with the title of Master Lecturer.
Since 2004, she has served as Head of the Dietetic Professional Section of the Magyar Egészségügyi Szakdolgozói Kamara, and between 2006 and 2009 she was its Communication Secretary. Since 2016, she has been Secretary General of the Magyar Dietetikusok Országos Szövetsége.
Between 2013 and 2023, she worked as a professional consultant at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Nemzeti Szakértői és Kutató Központ. Since 2017, she has been a dietitian at the EndoCare Endokrinológiai Központ, and since 2021 at the Biatorbágyi Szakrendelő.
She is co-author of the book Inzulinrezisztencia – Diéta és kezelés (SpringMed Publishing, 2021), which has gone through multiple editions, and author of the nutrition chapter of the Magyar Alváskönyv. Since 2025, she has been a lecturer of the “Reproductive Dietetics” course at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Semmelweis Egyetem.
