For reliable results it is important to follow a few simple rules before the examination.
Although most laboratory tests require a fasting sample some parameters do not. Even in these cases it is advisable to follow these rules:
During the examination nausea, dizziness, feeling unwell, or vomiting may occur. If you experience any of these symptoms, please inform the assistant performing the blood draw immediately. In case of vomiting the test must be stopped and can only be repeated at another appointment.
