Home blood testing is often useful for pre-existing medical conditions, temporary or permanent mobility restrictions, or for reasons of hygiene, convenience, or time management. General laboratory tests are comprehensive blood and urine tests that provide information about the condition of organs. The test can help to identify and, where appropriate, rule out diseases that may underlie pre-existing complaints and symptoms. In addition, a laboratory carried out at an early stage of the disease can help to identify it as soon as possible and identify risk factors. However, it is important to emphasize, that laboratory results in themselves do not constitute a diagnosis; it is the ordering or expert specialist who will make the diagnosis and recommend treatment based on the results.
Exercise blood glucose and insulin testing cannot be requested on a home visit. All other lab tests are performed in this format.
