sonographer, midwife
Vasvári Viktória continued her studies in midwifery at Semmelweis University in Budapest, and subsequently acquired her sonography skills at Széchenyi István University in Győr. She gained experience in the capital and in the countryside, in hospitals and private practices.
We are delighted that Viktória is the sonographer of our institution, as a professional and mother of three children, she knows that during pregnancy there are many questions and concerns that arise, which mothers would like to clarify immediately. She wants to help the mothers and couples who come to her. She welcomes everyone to a babyscreen or childbirth education.
In addition, in 2023, Viktória obtained her FMF licence at the London-based Fetal Medicine Foundation, one of the world's most renowned institutions for obstetric ultrasound diagnostics. A working group of the foundation, in collaboration with several renowned universities abroad, has developed a first trimester screening method for the 3 most common chromosomal abnormalities. The screening can be carried out between 11-13 weeks of pregnancy and involves the mother’s blood tests and ultrasound scans to screen for possible abnormalities. In addition, expectant mothers can have two further genetic ultrasound scans to monitor their baby's physical development.
