Dear Patients!
Donating blood is one of the simplest ways to help others. Blood is needed every day for surgeries, treating accident victims, and managing serious illnesses. A single blood donation can save up to three lives!
Date and Location of the Blood Donation Event
- Date: Wednesday, November 11, 2026, 2:00 PM–5:30 PM
- Location: Medical Center Hatvan – 17 Kisfaludy Street, 3000 Hatvan, Hungary
Adults aged 18–65 who weigh at least 50 kg and feel healthy are generally eligible to donate blood. For first-time donors, the upper age limit is 60 years. Final eligibility is determined by a medical assessment conducted on-site before donation.
Please bring your identity card, address card, and Hungarian Social Security (TAJ) card with you.
It is important not to arrive on an empty stomach! Eat as you normally would before donating blood, avoid fatty foods, and drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids. The entire process takes approximately one hour. No prior registration or appointment is required.
All blood donors will receive refreshments and a small gift as a token of our appreciation for their selfless contribution.
